M.PIARD STYLE is an entire mood! My style story begins as a Haitian girl from Queens, New York. I believe that where I’m from and my nationality, creatively birthed my sense of style. I grew up in Queens with six vibrant, loud, beautiful aunts, including my beautiful stylish mother. Her style always seem so effortless. They were and still are fashionistas.
My dad on the other hand is the coolest guy around, he always wore his collar up and carried a man purse before it was cool. I always attribute my sense of style to the bloodline, they were my first introduction to fashion.
My personality is a lot like my style, you either love it or hate it. I am very outspoken, opinionated, and an old soul. I’m complicated and have many layers, just like my style.
Like any great love affair, my journey with fashion has been a lifetime of highs and lows. For years I tried to silence this love and call it a hobby; GOD started to whisper and my soul began to listen and speak it into existence. I found myself needing to take action, the journey had been a struggle, but without God, and the support of my friends and family I know I would've quit. In that spirit Pardon Our Style, a former joint venture was created and taught me so much!
